WHAT IS BOOSTER PACK?
The new Microsoft Certification Booster Pack is a package discount offer meant to drive exam volume and bolster customer confidence. It consists of three options designed to give customers choices based on their preferences:
1. Practice test voucher + MCP exam voucher
2. MCP exam voucher + 4 exam retakes
3. Practice test voucher + MCP exam voucher + 4 exam retakes
When purchased together, each Booster Pack option represents cost savings for customers. The exact price of each Booster Pack option varies by region/country. Please refer to the pricing list.

· This offer is available for purchase from March 7 to August 31, 2016.
WHO CAN GET THIS?
· This offer is available to customers and partners worldwide.
WHERE DO THEY BUY IT?
· Customers and partners can purchase this offer from the “special offers” page on our website. (The hyperlink here is tagged for LeX field use.)
· The offer page will be live at 9:00am Pacific on March 7, 2016.
· When Arvato is ready, partners will also be able to purchase via Courseware Marketplace.
HOW ARE WE TAKING IT TO MARKET?
· March 1: Campaign info and marketing assets made available to Learning Partners on Campaign Factory, including banners, slides, social copy doc with tagged links.
· March 3: Article in Learning Partner newsletter, linking to Campaign Factory.

HOW DO WE MOBILIZE PARTNERS?
Encourage partners to do the following:
· Use the social copy, tagged link, and banners in their own social media content.
· Place a banner on their website, linking to the tagged link.
· Blog about the offer on their company blog.
· Tell their MCTs about the offer, and ask them to talk about it with students. Display the slides (from Campaign Factory) during class break times.
WHAT ARE OUR GO-DO’S?
· Use the information sheets and creative assets on the SMP SharePoint (including the pricing sheet) when you talk to partners and others in the field.
· Encourage partners to access and use the marketing resources on Campaign Factory.
· Use the social copy (or via Sociabble) to amplify through your own social media profiles.

Q: Is the Booster Pack offer eligible for the FY16 H2 Learning Partner incentives?
A: No, this offer is not part of the FY16 H2 Learning Partner incentive program.

Q. What is the Microsoft Certification Booster Pack?
A: The Booster Packs consist of three (3) options: 1) a practice test and an MCP exam voucher, 2) an MCP exam voucher and four (4) retakes, and 3) a practice test, an MCP exam voucher, plus four (4) retakes.
Q. When is Booster Pack offer available?
A. Booster Packs are available for purchase from March 7 to August 31, 2016.
Q. Is this a worldwide offer?
A: Yes, it is.
Q. How many exam retakes do I have using my Booster Pack?
A. For the Booster Pack option that contains an MCP exam voucher and retakes, you get four (4) exam retakes, for a total of five (5) attempts at passing your MCP exam. The standard Microsoft exam policies regarding retakes apply.
Q. Can I use a single Booster Pack to schedule different exams?
A. No. Each Booster Pack option includes one MCP exam voucher, which can only be used toward one exam. The retake option is for the same exam only, and cannot be applied toward other exams or offers.
Q. Which exams qualify?
A. Booster Pack applies to the exams in our MCSA, MCSE, MCSD, and Microsoft Specialist certifications and to Microsoft Dynamics exams.
Note MTA exams, MOS exams, and MCE exams do not qualify for MCP certification and are not eligible for Booster Pack. Beta exams can only be taken once, so they do not qualify for the Booster Pack.
Q. Can I take an online proctored exam with the exam voucher in a Booster Pack?
A. Yes, where online proctored exams are available, they can be taken with the exam voucher in a Booster Pack. See here for further details concerning availability of online proctoring.
Q. Can I schedule my initial exam and the retakes at the same time?
A. No, you cannot register for your exam retake until you have taken and failed the initial exam. See our retake policy for details.
Q. How do I redeem my practice test if it’s part of my Booster Pack?
A: The practice tests can be activated at marketplace.measureup.com. When purchased as part of a Booster Pack, the practice test is valid for thirty (30) days from activation. Practice tests must be activated by February 28, 2017.
Q. Can other offers or discounts be combined with the Booster Pack?
A: No. Booster Packs cannot be used in combination with any other offer or discount.
Q. I’m a student eligible for academic exam pricing. Can I get reduced pricing on the Booster Pack?
A. Because of the already deep discount and the overall high value, there is no academic pricing available.
Q. If I have previously paid for an exam or practice test, can I get a refund if I’ve now purchased a Booster Pack?
A: No. The Booster Pack offer and pricing cannot be applied to purchases made prior to March 7, 2016.
Q. Am I eligible for this Booster Pack offer if I purchase it prior to August 31, 2016, but don’t schedule my exam until after August 31, 2016?
A. You can schedule your last exam up to 6 months from purchase, subject to seat availability.
Q. Why is my Booster Pack voucher code not valid when I try to schedule the exam?
A. You may be trying to use the voucher code for an ineligible exam or after the expiration date of the offer. Or you may have run out of retakes in your Booster Pack. If none of these apply, contact [email protected] for further assistance.
